Hero Badges & Exclusive Weapons

Besides stars and gear, heroes have two more things to upgrade: badges and an Exclusive Weapon. Badges open at player level 12. Every hero has four badge slots, and a badge fits any hero of its class. Enhance raises a badge's level with Badge EXP and Gold, and only Exotic (Golden) badges can be starred up to raise their level cap. Exclusive Weapons open at player level 30 (in Season 1, also not before day 15 of your world), and only some Legendary and Exotic heroes have one. You forge it once the hero is at 15★, level it with Exclusive Weapon Alloy, and star it up with the hero's own Fragments and Exclusive Weapon Screws. Every weapon star needs the hero at 25★. The weapon gives three skills, and its level decides how high they go.

Badges

Slots and classes

A hero's four badge slots open at hero level 1, 70, 90 and 110. A locked slot shows Unlocks at Hero Lv.70 (or 90, 110). Hero level is capped by player level, so in practice slot 2 needs player level 14, slot 3 player level 18 and slot 4 player level 22.

Badges are made for a class (Mage, Shooter, Warrior or Tank), not for one hero. Any Mage can wear a Mage badge. When you tap a filled slot and choose to replace it, the list also shows badges that other heroes of the same class are wearing, with the wearer's name.

Each badge has a rarity, a star (0★–5★) and a level. Rarity and star set the level cap: Uncommon (Driftwood) badges go from 5 at 0★ to 30 at 5★, and every rarity above adds 30, so a Golden badge goes from 125 to 150. A badge has three fixed stats that grow with its level, plus one Extra Stat. The Badges list has the full level-cap table and each badge's stats.

Where badges come from

Badges come out of packs. The Extra Stat depends on the kind of pack, and the names are easy to mix up:

PackExampleClassExtra Stat
RandomRandom Golden Badgerandom, 25% eachrandom type, random value
AFK rewardRandom Badge Rewardsrandom, 25% eachrandom type, random value
SelectionDriftwood Badge Selection, Golden Badge Choiceyou pickrandom type, random value
Choice with a stat in its nameGolden Badge Choice - HPyou pickthat stat, at the top value for the badge

The random-stat packs never roll Initial Energy or Control RES; every other Extra Stat is equally likely. The only way to get those two stats is a Choice pack named after them. On a Golden badge the fixed values are 15% for HP, ATK, Skill Power, Crit and similar stats, 150 for Armor, RES and the two PEN stats, 30 Initial Energy and 240 Control RES. A Silver Choice pack gives less: 9% HP, or 20 Initial Energy.

Three more Golden packs turn into a Choice pack. Golden Badge Choice - Random S Stat picks the stat for you: 7% each for 14 stats and 2% for Initial Energy. The II version gives equal odds and leaves out Initial Energy and Control RES. Golden Badge Choice Pack II lets you choose Initial Energy or Control RES.

AFK rewards from Exploration include Random Badge Rewards packs and Badge EXP from AFK level 10. Each pack's description lists its rarity and star odds. Selection and Choice packs also show up in a badge slot's list: using one there opens it for that hero's class and puts the badge straight on.

Enhance

Enhance raises the level. Every level needs a set amount of EXP, and Gold for each point of EXP you put in. The cost depends only on the level, not on the badge. Taking any badge from Lv.1 to Lv.30 costs 610 EXP and 25,679 Gold, whether it is a Driftwood or a Golden badge. The per-level numbers are in the Enhance table.

You can feed it two kinds of EXP:

  • Badge EXP items give 1 EXP each.
  • Spare badges give EXP equal to their own level cap, plus the EXP of every level they have gained. An unleveled Silver 5★ badge is worth 120 EXP. EXP part-way into a level is not counted.

Exotic badges never appear in the Enhance list; they are kept for Star Up. Select All fills the list with Badge EXP and spare badges up to the rarity and star in its ≤ filter, as far as your Gold allows, and stops at the level cap. It skips locked badges and Legendary 5★ badges with a highly graded Extra Stat.

Example. A Golden badge from Lv.1 to its 0★ cap of 125 takes 86,485 EXP and 1,620,704 Gold. After five stars, going on to Lv.150 brings the totals to 148,985 EXP and 3,183,204 Gold. A Silver 5★ spare (120 EXP) would only take a fresh badge to Lv.15, so Badge EXP does most of the work.

Reset puts a badge back to Lv.1. The game server decides what you get back.

Star Up (Exotic badges only)

Only Exotic (Golden) badges have a Star Up tab. Badges of other rarities keep the star they came with. Each star raises the level cap by 5 and the fixed stats with it: a Golden Mage badge at 0★ Lv.125 has 13,579 HP, and at 5★ Lv.150 it has 26,258.

Each star costs Gold and a number of star-up points:

To starStar-up pointsGold
1★1500,000
2★21,000,000
3★42,000,000
4★84,000,000
5★168,000,000
0★ → 5★3115,500,000

Points come from Crystal Ore, worth 1 point each, and from spare Exotic badges that nobody is wearing. A spare 0★ badge is worth 1 point, and each star doubles that: 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 points at 1★ to 5★. Locked badges are not counted.

Don't star up a badge you plan to feed to another one. A starred spare is worth exactly the points that went into it, 1 for the badge plus what each star took. So you get the Ore and badges back as points, but the Gold is gone.

The Star Up screen also shows the Extra Stat before and after the star. That "after" value comes from the game server, so this wiki does not list how much the Extra Stat grows.

Exclusive Weapons

When the tab opens

The Exclusive Weapon tab on the hero screen needs player level 30 and a day of your world: day 15 in Season 1, day 1 from Season 2 on (see Seasons). In Season 1 the tab shows up three days early, on day 12, and tapping it shows Exclusive Weapon activates in Xd Yh.

Only Legendary and Exotic heroes have an Exclusive Weapon, and not all of them do; the Exclusive Weapons list shows which heroes have one. Legendary and Exotic heroes pay with different materials:

HeroLevels 1–2021–4041–100Stars
LegendaryBasic AlloyStandard AlloyAdvanced AlloyLegendary Exclusive Weapon Screw
ExoticStandard AlloyAdvanced AlloyPremium AlloyExotic Exclusive Weapon Screw

The alloys are Basic, Standard, Advanced and Premium Exclusive Weapon Alloy.

Forging and levels

  1. Forge makes the weapon at level 1. It needs the hero at 15★. The game writes this as Unlocks Exclusive Weapon forging at Hero 3-Star, counting big stars: 3 full big stars are 15★.
  2. Upgrade adds one level for a set amount of alloy. After three quick taps the game reminds you that you can hold the button to keep upgrading.
  3. The level cap is 50 at 0 weapon stars, and each weapon star adds 2, up to 100 at 25 stars. At the cap the game says Star Up Exclusive Weapon to raise level cap.

Weapon stars

The weapon's Star tab opens after forging. Each star needs the hero at 25★ (Hero 5-Star in the game's wording) and costs the hero's own Fragments plus Screws. The cost goes up in steps:

Weapon starsFragments per starScrews per star
1–5605
6–97015
108015
11–148030
159030
16–209040
21–2510070
All 252,020800

The weapon's Star tab has its own Auto Exchange switch, separate from the one on the hero's Star tab. With it on, Hero Universal Fragments of the hero's rarity count toward the weapon star. If you are short of Fragments, the Star Up button opens the list of places to get them.

Weapon skills

Every weapon has three skills that change the hero's own skills. On Mia's Captain's Royal Earring, for example, they add damage to her Heart Arrow and raise her Skill Power. You don't level these skills with books: the weapon's level sets all three. Since the level cap depends on weapon stars, each step also needs stars:

Weapon levelWeapon stars neededSkill levels (1 / 2 / 3)Fragments for those starsScrews for those stars
1 (Forge)01 / – / –00
4101 / 1 / –00
6052 / 1 / 130025
70102 / 2 / 1660100
80152 / 2 / 21,070250
90203 / 3 / 31,520450
100254 / 4 / 42,020800

Skill 3 and the first skill-level increase both come at weapon level 60. That level needs 5 weapon stars, so in practice the third skill needs a 25★ hero.

Weapon stats

The weapon also adds HP, ATK and Skill Power. Its level and its stars each give stat points. The hero's HP, ATK and Skill Power growth multiplies those points, and the result is rounded down. Two heroes with weapons at the same level and star therefore get different numbers.

Example: Mia (Legendary) up to her third weapon skill. Mia must first be at 25★, which takes 1,100 Mia Fragments from 0★ (see Hero Stars & Skills). Five weapon stars then cost 300 more Mia Fragments and 25 Legendary Screws. Levels 1 to 60 take 2,290 Basic, 2,265 Standard and 1,575 Advanced Alloy. At level 60 with 5 stars the weapon has 2,500 + 425 = 2,925 stat points. With Mia's growth of 75.28 HP, 4.59 ATK and 9.18 Skill Power, that is HP 220,194, ATK 13,425 and Skill Power 26,851. Taking it all the way to level 100 and 25 stars costs 2,020 Mia Fragments, 800 Screws and 6,825 Advanced Alloy in total, and gives 7,500 points (HP 564,600).

From Season 3 the weapon also gets chip slots. The first ones open at weapon level 50 (see the Exclusive Weapons list).

Exact formulas
  • Badge level cap = 5 + 30 × (rarity − 1) + 5 × star, with rarity 1 (Uncommon) to 5 (Exotic).
  • Badge fixed stat at level L = base + growth × L, rounded down; percentage stats are cut to 4 decimals before display.
  • Enhance Gold = sum over each EXP point added of that level's Gold rate.
  • Spare badge EXP = its level cap at its current star + all EXP of levels 2 to its current level.
  • Exotic badge Star Up: needs 2^(n−1) points for star n; a spare at star s is worth 2^s points.
  • Weapon level cap = 50 + 2 × weapon stars.
  • Weapon HP = floor((level points + star points) × hero HP growth); ATK and Skill Power the same with their growth.

Notes

  • "Choice" in a pack's name does not mean you choose the Extra Stat. Golden Badge Choice, Silver Badge Choice and the "N-Star Choice" packs only let you pick the class; the Extra Stat is random. Only packs whose name ends in a stat, such as Golden Badge Choice - Crit, fix it.
  • Badge locks are saved on your phone, not on the server. After you reinstall the game or switch devices, every badge is unlocked again, and Select All may use badges you meant to keep. The weapon star Auto Exchange switch is saved the same way.
  • "Not Enough Badge Star-Up Data or Exotic Badge" means you lack Crystal Ore or spare Exotic badges. "Star-Up Data" is the message's name for Crystal Ore.
  • The weapon's star requirements are written in big stars. Hero 3-Star means 15★ and Hero 5-Star means 25★, the same counting as the hero screen's five big stars.
  • Unconfirmed: what happens to extra star-up points. The screen stops you adding material once you have enough, but a single spare badge worth more than the step needs is still accepted. The game data does not say whether the surplus is kept, so use Crystal Ore and low-star spares for small steps.
  • Unconfirmed: whether badges of other rarities can be starred up some other way. The game data defines stars for every rarity, and non-Exotic badges with stars come from packs. The game only offers Star Up for Exotic badges, though.
